FAQ from the venue
Where do guests stay?
The Hideaways at Moon Flower Hill (our on-property overnight retreats) begin opening in 2027, with the first homes ready first and more to follow. Until then, Moon Flower Hill has strategic partnerships with the Hyatt and Marriott Residence Inn, both a nine-minute drive away with exclusive rates. Cedar Park, Leander, Four Points, and downtown Austin hotels are also nearby.
How does bar service work?
Bar service is the only catering element Moon Flower Hill provides in-house. It is fully licensed and staffed, with three package tiers: Beer & Wine, Classic Full Bar, and Premium Full Bar. Bring your own beverages is not permitted.
Can we bring our own caterer and other vendors?
Yes. Catering, planning, photography, florals, music, lighting, and rentals are all your choice. There is no vendor exclusivity. A preferred-vendor list is available as a starting point, and all outside vendors go through a simple pre-approval process.
What is included in a Moon Flower Hill rental?
Exclusive use of the 15-acre estate for your event date, Luna Manor (6,000 sq. ft.), the Pavilion (3,600 sq. ft.), the Veranda, the grounds, the Luna Room and Oak Room prep suites, tables and chairs, professional bar service, and on-site parking. The Glass House and resort-style pool are added to rentals from March 2027 onward.
How does pricing work at Moon Flower Hill?
Moon Flower Hill quotes every event individually around the date, guest count, spaces used, bar tier, and whether the Glass House (opening March 2027) is included. Custom proposals are sent within a few days of an inquiry.
How far is it from Austin?
About thirty minutes from downtown Austin, in Volente on Lake Travis, and roughly forty-five minutes from Austin-Bergstrom airport. Close enough to be easy for your guests, private enough to feel like a world away.
Are there places for guests to stay?
Two hotel partners (a Hyatt and a Marriott Residence Inn) offer exclusive MFH rates about nine minutes away, with more options in Cedar Park, Leander, and downtown Austin. The Hideaways at Moon Flower Hill, our on-property retreats, begin arriving in 2027.
How does pricing work?
Every wedding is quoted custom based on your date, guest count, the spaces you need, and how long you have the property. There are no packages and no published price list. The best next step is a short conversation after your tour.
